Intrust Super, the industry superannuation fund for the hospitality and tourism industries, has won Money magazine’s Best of the Best Value Insurance in Superannuation award for the fifth year in a row.
Intrust Super’s continued success in this category reflects the quality of insurance it offers in all key areas such as life insurance, total and permanent disability cover and income protection.
CEO Brendan O’Farrell says winning the prestigious award for the fifth consecutive year demonstrates Intrust Super’s continual focus on, and dedication to, the wellbeing of members.
“To be recognised by Money magazine for the fifth year in a row highlights the hard work we put into providing a superior insurance offering,” Mr O’Farrell said.
“So, not only do we have a history of strong investment performance, we are also protecting our members with superior insurance cover. We ensure our premiums are the best value for money so our members’ retirement savings aren’t heavily impacted.”
Money Magazine said “Intrust Super has won the gold award for the fifth consecutive year for its standout insurance.”
“Intrust [Super]’s PayGuard income protection insurance is a standout, automatically covering full-time, part-time and casual members.”
Mr O’Farrell said that Intrust Super endeavoured to be strong in all areas to ensure its members achieve their retirement goals. He thanked Money magazine for again acknowledging the Fund’s hard work.
Money magazine award winners are assessed on both qualitative and quantitative measures. These include insurance rates, terms and conditions and automatic acceptance levels.
