Besides bringing warmth, peace, and joy to households across the globe, Australia Post reveals a “Plan ahead’ move by issuing parcel posting deadlines for when gifts need to be sent so they are delivered around the country before Christmas.
It comes as Australia Post earlier announced its plan to hire thousands of employees, in an attempt to combat labour shortages before the peak Christmas period.

Australia Post has warned those sending to or from Western Australia or the Northern Territory will need to allow an extra few days.

Australia Post warns that items lodged after these dates may not arrive until after Christmas.
If you don’t want to send your gifts via Australia Post, you could also look into other delivery services or couriers, but bear in mind they will also have deadlines.
