Congratulations to our the three South Australian Salvos Stores Area Managers who have successfully completed their Diploma of Retail Leadership last week.
SALVOS Stores Area Managers each have years of management experience within the retail industry. By completing the NRA SALVOS LEAD Program, these are the first of a group of SALVOS Area Managers to have their skills and experience recognised and credited nationally towards a full qualification.
The Diploma of Retail Leadership is suited for individuals who manage a retail business, multiple retail stores or departments, and who need to follow a business strategy to deliver results for the organisation. These individuals support senior management and provide leadership to retail teams. They plan and evaluate the work of self and others, operating with autonomy and responsibility for personal outputs. Individuals with this qualification are able to perform roles such as area manager, state manager, senior store manager, cluster manager and small business owner.
SALVOS Stores has identified strong, skilled leadership as a critical factor in the future success of their business. It’s great to see their Area Managers have the opportunity to have their years of experience in retail formally recognised.
