Western Downs Regional Council has partnered with local Chambers of Commerce and the National Retail Association (NRA) to deliver free retail webinars to boost local business and energize the Western Downs economy.
Webinars are provided by the National Retail Association (NRA), a registered training organisation, and experts in the field of retail.
Webinars are FREE to attend and all retail staff and business owners within the Western Downs region are encouraged to participate in these interactive sessions.
The schedule of webinars will be as below:
Tuesday 7 April 5:30pm to 6:30pm – Retail sales
Tuesday 14 April 5:30pm to 6:30pm – Visual Merchandising
Tuesday 21 April 5:30pm to 6:30pm – E-commerce 101

During this interactive webinar, participants will learn to:
- Connect with customers, build rapport with them and use questioning and active listening to facilitate the conversation.
- Determine customers’ needs, preferences and expectations.
- Provide tailored solutions to customers based on their requirements.
- Provide alternative options to customers when their first preference is not available.
