As of Friday 8th July, the Fair Work Commission (FWC) launched a revitalised website with new design and features which have been based on feedback compiled through a website usability survey by stakeholders. The Commission was seeking feedback to improve the design, user experience and the functionality of the website.
Feedback received from stakeholders has resulted in a redesign that will now incorporate a single entry-point for searching Commission documents as well as improving the website’s navigation. The redesign also combines various functions from the old site that originally directed viewers to decisions/orders, awards and agreements to be able to now access them through a “search documents” feature.
The FWC has also announced the launch of an Online Lodgement System which will allow for greater efficiency and ease of use in comparison to the current “e-filing” regime.
The Fair Work Commission is a fantastic resource for small to large businesses to find agreements or awards, access resources in multiple languages, and identify if your right of entry permit is valid. The use of this website and your membership with the National Retail Association will help you receive the correct advice on exercising rights and obligations and identify what award or agreement applies to your business.
If you would like to become a member of the National Retail Association or are a member and would like to receive advice about your rights and obligations as an employer and what award and wage rates are applicable to you and your employees, please call our toll-free Hotline on 1800 RETAIL (738 245).
Have a good week.
