In a big win for the retail sector, the New South Wales Government announced this week that new legislation will be introduced to protect retail workers from customer aggression. The National Retail Association has strongly advocated for all States and Territories to introduce laws to protect retail workers, in line with South Australia and New South Wales. In recent news, the Fair Work Commission announced changes to the minimum wage and award minimum wages. A reminder to all members that the recent changes announced will take effect on July 1.
