One Woman, the new concept store by Australia’s largest womenswear group, Specialty Fashion Group, is honing in on a niche market with a new concept store aimed at women searching for a unique and personalised shopping experience.
“There is no other concept like this in the world, where a woman of a certain size or age can have something just for her,” Gary Perlstein says, after cutting the ribbon with Fairfield City Mayor Frank Carbone.
The concept stores will sell SFG labels, including the group’s plus size label City Chic, with a carefully curated selection of clothing and accessories supported by a thoughtful and detailed customer experience.
Understanding that retail is about the customers’ journey, SFG has collaborated with Marnie Perlstein and an organisational psychologist to put themselves in the customers’ shoes.
Making a consumer feel welcomed in store is more than a smiling assistant.
It is imperative in this day and age to understand what drives customers and what stops them from engaging with your brand.
