Trevor brings a wealth of experience when it comes to solving complex challenges where industry and business meet policy, community and politics.

Trevor was the CEO of the National Retail Association prior to his election as the Federal Member for Brisbane. Trevor served two terms in Federal Parliament and was appointed the Assistant Minister for Waste Reduction and Environmental Management.

Trevor now assists the National Retail Association as a Special Advisor to the Board, working closely with David and the Policy team, to navigate the complex policy landscape and drive our policy initiatives forward with greater impact.

Trevor has also worked as an economist, a political chief of staff, a communications strategist and an investigator for a federal regulator. Over his career, he has played a leadership role in working through and delivering reforms in areas including GST and tax reform, industrial relations, trading hours, marriage equality, circular economy laws and sustainability reforms.
