Getting the right people, in the right place at the right time is the goal of our company Rision Ltd.
As a partner and sponsor of the NRA Rewards for Excellence we were offered the opportunity to host an event on the day.
Being a successful technology start-up we wanted to do something a little different to make sure that our event was fun, memorable and ensured the right people were in the right place at the right time. What better way than speed networking!
Over 50 very brave people from a diverse range of retail businesses joined us to speed network, meeting colleagues from across the industry, and discussing a wide range of topics.
We did think about putting some retail questions in the list, but opted for some more interesting topics of conversation.
So, what did we learn about our retail colleagues?
- 80% of us prefer dogs to cats.
- 68% think that Hillary Clinton will win the US election.
- 75% would like the opportunity to travel overseas with work.
- However, only 38% of attendees would like to meet aliens.
We were a relatively law abiding bunch:
- 90% of us had completed our census on time
- But 85% would take $10,000 if they found it on a walk.
Following on from the NRA Rewards for Excellence’s wonderful Rio theme, 79% of speed networkers watched the Olympics.
For the 41% of people who rate their memory as bad, we hope that the event helped you meet new colleagues in a fun and memorable way.
To all the attendees, thank-you for being brave enough to come along. We loved talking with you and look forward for more to come. Thank-you also for the very positive feedback. If you want to find out more about results, please contact Ayah Cruz.
And don’t forget that if you need help with rostering or managing your teams, Rision is here to help!
The Rision team would like to thank Tara Jacobsen-Neven of Neuresource Group for her assistance as MC for the event.
