Pillow Talk made a decision to join the National Retail Association (NRA) some 6 months ago when it felt it was not getting value from a different industry association. The decision to join the NRA has since shaped a great partnership between Pillow Talk and the NRA. The NRA has provided Pillow Talk with personalized support in relation to employee management, communication and people strategies during COVID19 and an opportunity to be heard at the HR roundtables specifically driven for the betterment of the retail industry and retailers. The NRA created an engaging experience for not only me as a Consultant and Pillow Talk’s Head of People & Culture, but also for Pillow Talk’s Chief Operating Officer and the Owner/Director. The NRA took the time to understand Pillow Talk’s business and context which helped to ensure we got the right advice and/or information at the right time. Pillow Talk’s decision to join the NRA has been a welcomed resource to the Executive from a day to day perspective and also reassuring to know the NRA is regularly lobbying government on behalf of the retail industry to ensure our interests are protected.
